I moved to Asheville when I was 5 years old and call these mountains home. After graduating from UNC-Asheville I ventured forth into the wild and wacky world of radio, with stops in such diverse cities as Chattanooga, Fargo, Scranton, Miami and Atlanta.
A film and television acting career followed. In the Heat of the Night, I'll Fly Away, Scream 2 and various other films and television shows kept me busy as an actress in Atlanta for a lot of years. (Larry Hagman was the coolest famous actor- director I have worked with, and he called me darlin', twice.) My weirdest acting experience was playing a murderer on Unsolved Mysteries. Four days of filming included setting a house on fire and dumping a car in a river. Hmmm, definitely out of character.

It's great to be back in radio. Tamer, and definitely less dangerous.

Susan Lucci outed. She's 61. Wow! Bet she's thrilled about that info being spread to the media because of her participation in Dancing with the Stars. Actually, I feel bad for her because I think she's much younger. Oh well.
